Jesse Jacobs
President, The Chernin Group
Jesse Jacobs is the President of The Chernin Group, which manages, invests in and operates businesses in the media, entertainment and consumer internet industries. He was formerly a partner and co-founder of Raine, a media-focused advisory and principal investment firm. Prior to establishing Raine, Jacobs was a senior vice president in the media, entertainment and sports group of Goldman Sachs focusing on advisory, financing, and investing activities. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Jacobs worked at Yahoo!, Fox, and iFilm, and co-authored a book on the digital media industry. Jacobs has an MBA from The Wharton School and a BA in English and Communications from The University of Pennsylvania. In addition to The Chernin Group, Jesse also serves on the board of Our Time, a non-profit that leverages pop culture, retail partnerships, and online organizing to promote thoughtful consumerism and civic engagement.
