Jamie Byrne is currently leading Global Creator and Enterprise Partnerships for Youtube. Most recently, he was responsible for leading Content Commercialization for YouTube, helping to drive increased monetization to the YouTube content ecosystem.
Jamie joined YouTube in June 2006 prior to the company’s acquisition by Google. His early accomplishments at YouTube include leading the development of key advertising products and leading YouTube’s Sales Development function.
Prior to joining YouTube, Jamie worked for Yahoo! in Los Angeles. Before Yahoo!, Jamie spent 5 years at DoubleClick in New York where he held various positions including overseeing DoubleClick’s sponsorship development group and kick-starting DoubleClick’s mobile initiatives.
Jamie received a bachelor of communications and a bachelor of history from Rutgers University. He currently lives in Los Angeles.
